Gardner-Webb University recently recognized faculty and staff members for their tenures of service and presented retirement awards to eight employees during the annual “Apple and Accolades” ceremony. Honors were also presented for excellence in teaching, community engagement and staff members of the year. The Gardner-Webb Excellence in Teaching Award recipient for 2013 was Dr. Ron Williams, professor of religion in the Department of Religious Studies and Philosophy.
