Three students from Gardner-Webb University were recognized for their contributions during the Southern Regional Model United Nations (SRMUN) Atlanta conference held in November. Universities from across the Eastern, Southern and Mid-west regions of the United States participated, representing 79 countries at the event. Model United Nations is an authentic simulation of the UN General Assembly, UN Security Council, or other multilateral body, which introduces students to the world of diplomacy, negotiation, and decision making.
