Description
The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue introduces the new "Annual College Fund" and a new form of financial aid for students pursuing religious education/careers. It also writes that the GWC Choir will perform in France, recalls the alumni telethon and career day at GW. This issue also speaks much of Dr. Williams, the new President of GW. He politely refused an inauguration ceremony and insisted the money for the ceremony be spend on the school itself. R. Patrick Spangler is announced as chairman of the Board of Trustees for the seventh time, trips to London and Hawaii are announced, and updates on sports and homecoming/Founders Day activities are provided.
