The Thomas & Narcissa Patterson family owned a mid-sized farm in White Plains, NC. Today, White Plains is known as Kings Mountain and their farm was in the vicinity of Galilee Church Road outside of the current city limits. The family unit included the Patterson children, Dr. Alexander B. Patterson, Dixon Carr Patterson, Sarah Patterson, Thomas Calvin Patterson, Robert S. Patterson, Martha Patterson, and John J. Patterson.
