Gardner-Webb University invites the community to ring in the Christmas season with its inaugural Christmas celebration “‘Twas the Night,” on Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m. in Blanton Auditorium, located inside Gardner-Webb’s Hamrick Hall. Guests should bring an unwrapped, new toy as the price of admission, to be donated to the Salvation Army Christmas Toy Closet. Part concert, part drama, part sing-along and storytelling session, “‘Twas the Night” is a dynamic musical event based around two dramatic scenes—a contemporary Christmas fireside scene and the biblical nativity scene.
