Description
Gardner-Webb, The Magazine, previously titled The Webb Magazine, focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. The magazine redesign recognized by the “Non-Profit Communications Report,” a national newsletter that provides practical tips and techniques to strengthen an organization’s communications, community relations and media relations efforts nonprofitcommunicationsreport.com. This issue includes many articles relating to the arts, such as music and theatre. Talented students and alumni are showcased on various platforms, from photography to being a harpist. Along with that, the WGWG Radio Station is featured in an article. There is also an emphasis on missions/outreach in this issue; the diversity of the types of community service that GWU is involved in is great, as the work ranges from disaster relief to combating human trafficking. Sports updates are provided along with alumni updates towards the end of the issue.
