Description
The 1884 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Big Springs Meeting House (present day: Big Springs Baptist Church) in Ellenboro, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by A.C. Irvin. The Committee on Education reports that the Shelby Female College continues to be a success. The Committee on Ministerial Support recommends that churches pay their pastors a timely salary.
