Description

The 1918 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Union Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by D. F. Putnam. The Committee on Women's Work reports that the Women's Missionary Union has been existence for thirty years and continues to grow. The Committee on Obituaries reports the passing of R.N. Hawkins, a Confederate solider and longtime pastor who served in Cleveland, Gaston, and Rutherford counties.
