Description
The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. UNC Chapel Hill standout Derrick Fenner chose to continue his athletic and academic career with the Runnin' Bulldogs after some legal troubles. The concert choir of the university toured New York at Carnegie Hall, and then some parts in Europe. Over three million dollars had been raised for the capital campaign. The Heritage club inducted new members in May. Summer commencement was held in August with two hundred and eight students graduating. Mr. E. Jerome Scott became the new Assistant Dean of Special Studies, and Robin Taylor became the Director of Public Information.
