Description
The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue announces the newly elected trustee and adviser officers, tells that Pat Spangler had a dormitory building named for him, and also recognizes the pledge from the PPG Foundation to Gardner-Webb for $20,000. It also recognizes Mary Cole as the "first to teach", mentions progress being made towards Gardner-Webb's accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and explains how Gardner-Webb is responding to the growing need for more Baptist ministers in the country.
