Description
The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. In this issue of The Web, the GWU Centennial is recognized and will occur in 2005. Traditions are a huge defining factor at GWU, even from the beginning. It was a Baptist idea from the very start. This issue also covers the entire history of the college from its start to where it is now. Carolyn Lewis Duncan (class of 1972) reflects her memories of time on campus. Many of the faculty members are mentioned such as Dr. Jim Lawrence and Dr. Matt Theado. Students are also recognized for award in the science field, their compassion for the public, and their overall personalities.
