Description
The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. Much of the beginning of this issue discusses the importance of character and how Gardner-Webb plans to continue to develop character within its students; having been named a "character-building institution", GW had a lot to live up to. Following are articles recognizing several faculty members for their accomplishments and legacies at Gardner-Webb. Students and alumni alike are recognized in this issue for both their work abroad and within the United States, the Broyhill Adventure course receives a special article providing details about it, recipients of the African-American Scholarship are recognized, and the recipient of the newly endowed chair of the Divinity School is recognized.
