Description
The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue covers the events of convocation where the 75th anniversary of Gardner-Webb was celebrates, writes on the meetings of the trustees and advisors, explores the topic of a possible future laboratory school, and discusses the anthem made for the spring convocation. It also recognizes the Philbeck family for being Bulldogs generation after generation, announces a new scholarship fund from Mrs. Beulah Rimmer Craig, tells the story of Deborah James in Vietnam, and thanks the Sears-Roebuck Foundation for the grant they gifted to GW. Finally, this issue writes on the new religious curriculum center, John Mackovic at the All-Sports Banquet, Bob Porter being elected city councilman in Thomasville, and about former coach Norman Harris.
