Dr. Charles Tichenor brought a world of experience to Gardner-Webb University, and as a professor of business and distinguished corporation chief executive in the Godbold School of Business he offered a world of opportunities to his students. Tichenor, a U.S. Navy veteran and former international business executive, passed away May 19. He was 89.
