Description
Each year, Gardner-Webb University Department of Communications and New Media Professor Dr. Joseph Webb teaches students about media law and how to navigate the sometimes-murky waters of social media publishing platforms. Webb recently offered insight into a landmark case involving a celebrity, her attorney, and Twitter. In January, a civil court jury declared that shock-rocker Courtney Love was not guilty of libel for comments she posted on Twitter in 2010 against her former attorney, Rhonda Holmes.
