Description
This week, hundreds of on-campus residents of Gardner-Webb University will begin packing up their residence hall rooms as the spring semester comes to a close. Instead of throwing away unwanted items, the GWU Office of Community Engagement is hosting an end-of-year Yard Sale on Saturday, May 11 from 8 a.m. to noon as a benefit for the Cleveland County Potato Project. According to Community Engagement Coordinator Stephanie Capps, the purpose of the event is to encourage students to donate items instead of trashing them.
