The National Theme for Black History Month 2023 is Black Resistance, which celebrates the stories of how African Americans have mobilized for freedom and justice through the years. Gardner-Webb University’s Director of Diversity and Inclusion Lawrence Brinson has planned events to recognize and honor the contributions of African Americans to society both in the United States and worldwide.
