Dr. Danny West, who recently retired from Gardner-Webb, is the guest speaker for the C.O. and Eliza Greene Lectureship on March 7 at the University. His topic for the two sessions will be “Preaching as the Task of Sacred Relinquishment,” allowing the sacred text to provide the primary voice for the sermon. There is no cost to attend and the event is open to pastors, students and lay persons.
