The Gardner-Webb University Student Government Association is hosting its first “Run for the Heart 5k” during Family Weekend on Feb. 11 at 9 a.m. February is American Heart Month, and this 5k will serve as a chance for families, students, staff, faculty and members of the community to come together and bring awareness to the importance of heart health.
