Gardner-Webb, The Magazine, previously titled The Webb Magazine, focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. Much of this issue is dedicated to the many different outreach programs that Gardner-Webb is involved in. Additionally, this issue recognizes several different accomplishments of GWU students, alumni, and faculty/staff. A summary of graduation is provided along with a list of donors to Gardner-Webb and a new and recurring article called "Scenic Impressions" is introduced to the magazine.

Gardner-Webb, The Magazine, previously titled The Webb Magazine, focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue begins with a special word from the managing editor, Noel T. Manning, II. He describes how the Web Magazine has been dynamic from its origins; however, its meaning has remained the same throughout all the changes. From this issue on, it becomes known as "Gardner-Webb Magazine". Following are articles related to new faculty/staff appointments, the December graduation, Barack Obama's inauguration, and news concerning several faculty/staff members. There are also sports updates, several articles related to the community outreach work that GWU is a part of, an article featuring Tony Colvard, a Silver Star recipient. This issue wraps up with an extensive list of individuals who donated to Gardner-Webb and a "distinguished graduates" list.
Gardner-Webb, The Magazine is the official magazine for alumni and friends of Gardner-Webb University. Gardner-Webb, The Magazine was preceded by The Gardner-Webb Quarterly, in print from 1954 - 1965, and The Web Magazine, in print from 1967 - 2008.
