GWU student and film critic Thomas Manning recently interviewed writer and director Martin Strange-Hansen and producer Kim Magnusson to discuss their work on the Oscar-nominated short film “On My Mind,” which has received a nod for Best Live Action Short at the 2022 Academy Awards. During their conversation, they discuss the significant role of short films in the landscape of cinema, the beautiful lead performance from Rasmus Hammerich, and the emotionally resonant power of music.
