Description
The 1962 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Kings Mountain First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, NC. The North Carolina Baptist Homes for the Aging reported the opening of a new facility called the Hamilton Home. Gardner-Webb College reported having to turn away students because of the lack of dormitory space. The Ministers' Wives Auxiliary celebrated their tenth anniversary. It was proposed that every church have a library. It was stated in the Home Mission report that the committees' workers are helping and ministering to many refugees from Cuba.
