Description
The 1961 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist association took place at Zoar Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. A tribute was paid to the late Dr. Philip Lovin Elliott. The missionary sermon was given by J.A. Bracey. A new science building and Mechanical Drawing course was added to Gardner-Webb College. The North Carolina Baptist Hospital reported that the New Progressive Care Unit was opened in March.
