Description
The 1934 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at New Prospect Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by Zeno Wall. The Women's Missionary Union was recognized at the State Convention for reaching all points on the Standard of Excellence. The Boiling Springs Junior College report indicated that there were a record number of students enrolled at the college, and that there were five states represented in the student body. The Report on Ministerial Relief and Annuities asked that churches contribute to the Relief and Annuity Board and Co-operative Program to help increase benefits paid to aging ministers and widows.
