Description
The 1935 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by A. G. Sargeant. The report on Mills Home provided an overview of the Baptist Orphanage of North Carolina's 50 year history. An associational Deacon's Day meeting was held at Double Springs Church. The Boiling Springs Junior College report recommends that a permanent committee should be established to promote the interests of the College. The report on Christian Training indicated that the position of Boiling Springs Junior College president, filled by A.C. Lovelace, is now a full time position.
