Description

State supported technical colleges are limited in many ways from competing in the education recruitment market for growth. Some limitations include the amount of funds available for non-program services, location of service area for recruitment, the availability of programs being offered, and other aspects. However, these technical colleges have unique opportunities for branding and positioning themselves in market segments that 4-year universities may not be able to reach. This presentation is intended to help identify some of those market segments, discuss strategies that have worked for other colleges or programs, and suggest pathways smaller colleges can use to increase enrollment numbers specific to their accounting programs.
