Description
This past July marked 22 years since the “People’s Princess” was suddenly killed in an unforeseeable motor vehicle accident. The conspicuous circumstances that have been unveiled surrounding her death have led to the emergence of questions debating whether her death was a scheme by various personnel or merely an accident. Our team includes a biology major, who will examine the medical elements associated with the car crash and Princess Diana’s theoretical pregnancy; a discipleship studies major, who will address the role faith has in the grievance of celebrities and in the turmoil amongst the royal family; a music major, who will analyze the songs sung at her funeral as well as modern adaptations of her life, including documentaries and a musical; an information technology major, who will decipher the transformation of information dissemination about the conspiracy over the years; and an English major, who will probe the language dictated when discussing the death. Although the day of Princess Diana’s death continues to become more distant, it lives on in the popular imagination. Aiming to get closer to the truth, there has been a continuous flux of investigations surrounding the conspiracy, brought on by her popularity and a desire to keep her memory alive.
