This presentation will explain the topic of community-acquired pneumonia occurring in children to the extent of requiring hospitalization. The objective of the presentation is to explore the disease process itself, common pathogens suspected of causing the disease, and effective methods that can be used to determine the suspected pathogen in a given patient.
