Description
The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue highlights yet another tragic passing in the GWU community. This comes in the person of Mr. E. Jerome Scott, who passed away suddenly at a faculty retreat. Mr. Bobby Lutz was named the new men's basketball coach. The first class of the new School of Divinity officially graduated. GWU hosted the Olympics hopefuls, the US National Cycling Team. Rev. David Gomes (Gomez) received an honorary doctorate degree. GWU revealed its new School of Education, headed by Dr. Dee Hunt. The university also revealed a new American Sign Language set to debut in the 1995 Fall.
