Description

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. The University received a new Vice President, Mr. Bruce Moore. Dr. Shirley Toney was named the new dean of the Nursing Program. The MBA program had their first class of graduates within summer commencement. The university also began offer weekend classes.E. Jerome Scott's legacy was remembered when a oak tree was dedicated in his honor. Football standout Terry Guess was highlighted in this issue, as well as, the three night games that the Bulldogs would host. After the resignation of Bobby Lutz, a new basketball coach was found in Mr. Rick Scruggs.
