Description
The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. The first few pages of this issue introduce Dr. A Frank Bonner as the new vice president of academic affairs, recall the dedication of the Noel House for disabled students, provide a homecoming schedule, and recognize several professors for the accolades they had received for their achievements. Much of this issue is dedicated in memory of Royce Patrick Spangler, a long-time supporter of Gardner-Webb College and Martin Arthur Moseley Jr., a beloved professor of Gardner-Webb College. John Elgin Roberts is also honored in this issue for having received the Honorary Doctor of Humanities degree at the spring commencement on 1987. The rest of the issue covers subjects such as the radio ministry, scholarships, sports, and several different programs/events going on around the GWC campus.
