Description
The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. In this newspaper, the front headline tells the news of Mr. Lloyd C. Bost heading a nearly six million dollar campaign for Gardner-Webb. There were plenty of new faces beginning to work at the college in the Fall. Sharon Jennings was also named as the Director of Programs for the deaf and Blind. In the fall of 1986, enrollment in the Day program reached an all time high. The majority of this issue was filled with pictures from Earl Scruggs Day, celebrating the renowned musician. Dr. Frank Campbell lectured to the Staley Distinguished Christian Scholars. The final article, approximately one page, details the struggles and strides that it takes to be a blind runner, as the paper interviewed Doug Armstrong.
