Description
The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue begins with a section concerning the inauguration of President Christopher White, complete with a schedule of events for the day. Campaign leaders are named on the next page; following are segments written about Forrest Feezor, scholarships, the nursing program, and the GW Opera Theatre. The next pages feature stories about Harvey Gantt, the Fleming-White Award for Excellence in Teaching, the GW communications department, and a recap on the Scholarship Day Luncheon. A few stories about alumni and their respective accomplishments are featured also. Finally, this issue is wrapped up with sports updates, a homecoming/alumni day date announcement, and a special thanks to Max and Mary Padgett who helped fund the GW concert choir.
