Description

The objective of this study was to observe the effects of Cinnamon oil, Limonene, and Thyme oil on common human microbiota bacteria S. epidermis and S. simulans using hydrodistillation to extract the oils from their designated plant matter and agar disk diffusion to catalyze bacterial-oil interaction. GC-MS was also used to characterize the oils extracted and identify each of their main compounds.
