Candlelight Vigil Brings Awareness to Drunk Driving Dangers

On Wednesday evening, October 14th, a Candlelight Vigil was held honoring over 400 students in the North Carolina area (two known by students at Gardner-Webb) that have died in an accident involving drunk driving.

Honors Students Participate in their first TSD of the Semester

Several times each semester, the Honors Students Association (HSA) takes students to “Try Something Different” (TSD) where they are able to eat foods that they may have not been subjected to previously. Runnin' Bulldogs Fall to Charleston Southern

Sigma Zeta Hosts Slip and Slide

On Wednesday, September 23rd, Gardner-Webb’s National Science and Math Honor Society, Sigma Zeta, hosted a slip and slide. The money raised will be going to travel costs needed to teach people about Fish Farming.

Student Learn Spanish Dancing from TA's

Every week the Spanish Teaching Assistants (TA’s) host a conversation table in the Broad River Coffee Shop where students can practice their Spanish and make connections with the TA’s. Monday, November 9th, the conversation table was taken up a notch by adding a dancing lesson.

Students 'Fill the Hill' at Men's Soccer Game
GWU Today
On Tuesday night, September 29th, men’s soccer suffered a devastating 0-4 loss against Clemson. However, throughout the game, they were supported by a large community of students in an attempt to “Fill the Hill” with specific shirt colors representing their student class. Seniors in black, juniors in red, sophomores in grey and freshmen in white.
