GWU Theatre Department Hold Auditions for New Play

The Department of Theatre Arts has announced auditions for a stirring drama, set in Poland in 1939 as the Nazis invade. The play is called, “#8” originally written by Jean Battlo.

Inspection Improvements Lead to Dover Shutdown

Last fall, Dover Theater was under inspection when Gardner-Webb noticed the theater was experiencing structural problems. Since then, there has had to be changes in events and productions that were scheduled. With everything going on with the building, there is a need for clarification regarding the theater.

Three men and two women from Miracle Hill, a rehabilitation center in Gaffney, S.C., shared their testimonies of their experiences with homelessness.

Saturday's Prayers at Spangler Stadium Answered

Virginia Union wide receiver, Donte Gross, was taken off the field on a stretcher in the fourth quarter after being tackled by Gardner-Webb’s Thomas Adams during an incomplete pass. Gross was knocked unconscious from the impact and then taken to the hospital in Charlotte, N.C.

After a disappointing loss in their home opener to Elon, the Runnin’ Bulldogs will look to get things going early offensively against Virginia Union this Saturday in Boiling Springs.The football team will have to do so without starting quarterback Tyrell Maxwell who suffered a concussion during overtime on Saturday. According to Coach Carroll McCray they will go with a two-quarterback system, freshmen Brody Rollins and (RS) sophomore Chase Arrington.
