The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. Graduates at GWU hit record numbers and an honor doctorate highlight is in store during the May Graduation. Many of the faculty members are recognized for things such as, the nursing program and its origins, the third chair is announced, and the 'Heritage Award' recognizes Wade Sheppard. GWU also opened up a Charlotte campus which offers the GOAL program to adults. More graduates share their personal anecdotes on their experiences while at GWU.

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue's top story is about President Chris White and his resignation after serving GWU for 16 years. Dr. Frank Campbell is then named as interim president. There were then landmark announcements that do in fact highlight New Year's opening ceremonies. When speaking about the students, this issue recognizes a freshman's brave response to September 11. With sports, football wins Big South; players earn distinctions.

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue of the Web starts off with a "President's Update" in which he gives more insight into his reasoning for choosing GWU. The next big story is the one entitled "Honor Codes" which is a debate that occurred during that time. GWU was also proud to offer its second doctoral degree in the fall of 2003. Many faculty members were recognized but the one who stands out is Dr. Tom Jones. Then, the student spotlight is on Justin Alston who struggled with health problems but still got his diploma. In sports, the national media expects bulldogs to be on top. Lastly, a new alumni director settles in.

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue of The Web is known as the Homecoming Edition; however, it does still start out with the President's Update by Frank R. Campbell. Then, the issue highlights "The Value of Accreditation" in which they list and describe several different types of accreditation. "Since We Last Met", is a section giving general updates including that of the stadium project and how it is underway. A few students decide to give a gift with the "Locks of Love" program in which they grow their hair out and then cut off around 10 inches of their hair to donate to girls who have cancer and lost their hair. With sports, the football program takes home second straight conference title. Lastly, since this was the homecoming edition, it is proper to include many great articles and pictures to set the scene.

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. In this issue of The Web, Dr. Frank R. Campbell provides a President's Update in which he states "With Another Year Complete, We're Moving Up and Moving On". We also get an overview of a historic graduation due to the three first-ever doctoral graduates. New positions were announced in this issue along with the announcement that Cullinan says goodbye to GWU after working 30 years. when looking at the students we also see that they strive to carry tradition in many things they take part in. With sports, the new women's basketball coach brings 'instant credibility'.A few more alumni stories were given as well.

The Webb Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue is focused around the GWU Graduation 2005. We start off with the President's Update in which we talks more about the future and the dreams for the future. Frank R. Campbell resigned and welcomes home newly elected President Dr. A. Frank Bonner. Since we last met, a Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient spoke at GWU and the faculty and staff were honored at an annual awards luncheon. Students, on the other hand, works more toward diversity by introducing Jerusalem native Nisreen Abu Ata to campus where she works to explore the hidden treasures here at GWU. In sports, we witnessed a season of surprise when the men's basketball team exceeds everyone's expectations. Lastly, the Celebration of the Century is another top story of this issue due to the big changes happening at GWU during this time.

In this issue, The Web captures word from the President, newsworthy stories, faculty and students, and athletics. Again, Frank R. Campbell shared his experiences thus far with his journey as President of GWU. Next, there us a 100 Years of Perseverance in which a ton of dates are listed with its specific important event. "Lights, Camera, Action!" is the top story under academics in which GWU Communications Studies Program gains national exposure. Summer internships are also included in this issue. In sports, all's well that ends well and GW football standout finishes career with all-American honors.

The Webb Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. The beginning of this issue is dedicated to the inauguration of Dr. A. Frank Bonner as President of Gardner-Webb University accompanied by an article looking back on commencement exercises from that spring. The School of Nursing celebrated its 40th anniversary in this issue also. Several articles in this issue are related to the military and Garder-Webb's involvement in the armed forces. A few individuals receive articles praising them for their achievements or work and the issue wraps up with a recap on the First Annual Springs Alive Festival, sports updates, and a story on the Phone-a-thon.

Exciting changes/events for GWU are covered in this issue, beginning with the inauguration of A. Frank Bonner as the new University President; following are articles about the school of business being awarded accreditation, the introduction of the VPhone for deaf/hard of hearing students, and opera performances. Articles featuring Gardner-Webb alumni appear towards the end of the issue, along with sports updates, a list of distinguished graduates, and an encouragement to give financial gifts during the Gardner-Webb Phone-a-thon.

Much of this issue features students who took part in some way in the Noel Program, a program that gives aid to GWU with disabilities. Additionally, this issue writes about changes occuring on Gardner Webb's campus such as the addition of Frank Nanney Hall, making GW a tobacco free campus, and the implementation of a marching band on campus. Other articles are about faculty/staff awards, student involvement in numerous extracurriculars, sports updates, and a lengthy article features Gardner-Webb alumnus Linda Morrison Combs.

This issue dedicated a large portion to GWU athletics, especially the basketball team. Following are articles related to enrollment numbers, alumni achievements, distinguished graduates, and faculty turned authors. The issue concludes with an article recalling O. Max Gardner's tremendous legacy he left on GW; named a "Great Person of Gardner-Webb", Gardner is one of the major reasons Gardner-Webb is thriving today.

The Webb Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. Much of this issue's subject matter reached beyond campus grounds and into the world; for example, articles about novels on Islam, community service, teaching across the globe, and working for international governments can all be found in this issue. Also, several scholarships are mentioned, such as the Martha Mason Challenge Endowed Scholarship. The issue concludes with the announcement of the newly implemented Center for Continuing Professional Education that GWU created.
The Web Magazine served as the official magazine for alumni and friends of Gardner-Webb University from 1967 - 2008. The Web Magazine was preceded by The Gardner-Webb Quarterly, in print from 1954 - 1965. Gardner-Webb, The Magazine serves as the current official magazine, providing updates on campus life and featured spotlights on alumni.
