The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue recognizes several individuals (current students and alumni) for different accomplishments, pays tribute to the late James H. Rash, provides updates on faculty/staff, announces classes being provided by Southeastern Seminary, and provides a reflection that Dorothy Washburn Hamrick wrote about the fire of 1957 that happened on campus. This issue also announces a study tour to Egypt, Jordan, and the Holy Land, discusses new ministerial board members, and thanks Riegel Textile Corporation for their grant of $10,000.

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. This issue features a schedule for Alumni Day, praises the freshman class for contributing to the enrollment numbers (which were a record high that year). It also writes about the Shelby Cullom Davis Award that GW was given, the new graduate degree program, the upcoming spring seminars, a play that recalls GW's history, and gifts given by benefactors from Shelby. The visit of two congressmen to Gardner-Webb is covered in this issue as well as information about endowed scholarships, alumni who majored in religious studies, a trip to Hawaii, and the Ministerial Board of Associates.

Highlights from the Christian Service Organization are provided, adult learning is discussed, and Jack D. Mullinax is announced to be the Alumnus of the Year.

This issue discusses the new $12.5 Million Development Program that was being implemented at the time, announces dates/events for Parents' Day and Homecoming, praises GW students for increasing enrollment numbers for the fourth year in a row, provides a recap on a seminar about the Tax Act of 1981, asks readers to donate to the book sale, and writes about the faculty. Also, it writes about Joe Mauney and his contributions to the GW community, provides sports updates, and reviews the graduate program.

This issue reflects on how 1982 was the "end of an era" since the very last basketball game was played in Bost Gymnasium. The Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center was scheduled to be built and used for the next season. It also features a segment on Lent, what the Board of Trustees had been doing that year, information about the new heart training center, praises for the "college-owned newspaper", information/updates on the GWC Broyhill Academy, and a short section about Charles Scoville. It also looks back on the spring seminars of 1982, gives an update on the GWC Parents Council, recognizes Stanley R. Smedley for having an article published, and announces that C.J. Underwood will be speaking at the Alumni Banquet.

This issue highlights events from graduation day, writes about Bruce Bowers' trip to Russia, announces Joseph E. Cabaniss as Alumnus of the Year, reflects on the historical importance of the E.B. Hamrick Hall building, discusses the GOAL program, and features a section on the GWC's President Craven's wife, Beth Parker Williams. It also writes about Dr. William H. Crouch's challenges with his new position of Development Associate, covers events from the alumni banquet, writes about the A.V. Nolan Memorial Garden, and praises GWC alumni Carl Martin for his persistence. The boiling spring is announced to be boiling once again, sports updates/information is given, an update on the Broyhill Academy is given, and faculty/staff members are recognized for having received service awards.

Morris Academy. It also explains what the Gardner Society is, recognizes several individuals for being appointed to new positions at GWC and elsewhere, announces Douglas J. Culver to be the speaker at the Broyhill Academy sponsored banquet, announces the Summer Enrichment Experience, introduces the program that will be initiated for the blind/visually impaired, and discusses a seminar that local authors/columnists attended. It also provides an update on football, recognizes Bill Miller for having tackled the task of writing a community history, recognizes James W. Ray for donating a mineral collection to Gardner-Webb, and provides a schedule for alumni day.

This issue discusses the various plans/programs that were set in place to raise money for Gardner-Webb (such as the annual college fund), recalls the events from commencement, praises the library for its progress, names E.B. Hamrick Hall a historical site, and discusses the new program for the blind. It also provides dates for homecoming and alumni day, looks back on the success of the Jump Rope for Heart campaign, recognizes the recipients of the Alumnus of the Year and the Bulldog of the Year awards, and recalls GW's involvement with a sign language course at Mount Vernon Baptist Church.

Through increased enrollment, the school was able to raise the funds for the Elliott Hall Renovation.The nursing class that graduated in the Spring passed their state test by 100 percent. There were also many different articles about Homecoming, including a picture of the new homecoming queen on the front page.

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. The top story in this issue is that the President, Craven E. Williams resigned from his position. Linda Morrison Combs came and spoke at the most recent graduation, and urged all of the graduates to have confidence. James O. Terrell was named the college's first Dean Emeritus at commencement. The College opted to spread and open an office with Classrooms in Charlotte, NC. Randy Kilby was named the new Admissions Director. A new logo was also redrawn for the Runnin' Bulldogs.

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. After the resignation of the previous president, the new presidential search is underway. While this is going on, there was a major grant given to develop and organize a marketing plan. A missionary, Annette Hall, joined the staff at the campus in Statesville. There were approximately 114 people that graduated in the previous summer commencement.There was an orientation held for five students who were visually handicapped, and it was deemed a success. The graduate program of the college hooded its 138th candidate during this time.

A recap of Parents' Day is provided along with a schedule for Alumni Day, an announcement of the opening of the GW bookstore, and a photo of the homecoming queen, Mary Willoughby. Finally, updates on several sports teams are provided.

Williams, and welcomes the new president of the college Dr. Christopher White. This issue features spotlights on the achievements of Dr. Williams, and some of the fond memories that he created. The piece on Dr. White highlights the potentials that he could bring to the table. Things were heating up for the sports teams, as volleyball, softball, and women's basketball received new coaches. Baseball was also briefly detailed as a promising team with a competitive edge.

The front page of this issue announces that Betty Knox was to be the ACF Chairperson for 1986-87 and provides a synopsis of the Broyhill Business camp that took place over that summer. Other stories in this issue include ones concerning a new endowed scholarship, the GWC Heritage Club, and a schedule for Earl Scruggs Day festivities. Also, a theater workshop was held that summer and this issue goes into detail about the students who took part in that. Sports updates are provided, an excerpt from new GWC President Christopher White's address is featured, a homecoming schedule is provided, and the issue concludes with providing an "honor roll of investors" in the college.

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. In this newspaper, the front headline tells the news of Mr. Lloyd C. Bost heading a nearly six million dollar campaign for Gardner-Webb. There were plenty of new faces beginning to work at the college in the Fall. Sharon Jennings was also named as the Director of Programs for the deaf and Blind. In the fall of 1986, enrollment in the Day program reached an all time high. The majority of this issue was filled with pictures from Earl Scruggs Day, celebrating the renowned musician. Dr. Frank Campbell lectured to the Staley Distinguished Christian Scholars. The final article, approximately one page, details the struggles and strides that it takes to be a blind runner, as the paper interviewed Doug Armstrong.

This issue begins with a section concerning the inauguration of President Christopher White, complete with a schedule of events for the day. Campaign leaders are named on the next page; following are segments written about Forrest Feezor, scholarships, the nursing program, and the GW Opera Theatre. The next pages feature stories about Harvey Gantt, the Fleming-White Award for Excellence in Teaching, the GW communications department, and a recap on the Scholarship Day Luncheon. A few stories about alumni and their respective accomplishments are featured also. Finally, this issue is wrapped up with sports updates, a homecoming/alumni day date announcement, and a special thanks to Max and Mary Padgett who helped fund the GW concert choir.

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College that is now Gardner-Webb University; however, this issue is a special edition. Titled the "Inaugural Edition", it does not feature alumni news. Rather, it looks back on the events of the inauguration of Gardner-Webb College President Christopher White. Copies of the speeches of all the speakers are featured. Those who spoke ranged from Gardner-Webb faculty to preachers from local churches to other college presidents. Photos are provided to capture the day's festivities and commemorate the historic event. President Ronald Reagan wrote a letter to President White congratulating him and a copy of it was printed in this issue. The Inaugural Edition concludes with photos of several newspapers that wrote on President White's inauguration.

The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. The first few pages of this issue introduce Dr. A Frank Bonner as the new vice president of academic affairs, recall the dedication of the Noel House for disabled students, provide a homecoming schedule, and recognize several professors for the accolades they had received for their achievements. Much of this issue is dedicated in memory of Royce Patrick Spangler, a long-time supporter of Gardner-Webb College and Martin Arthur Moseley Jr., a beloved professor of Gardner-Webb College. John Elgin Roberts is also honored in this issue for having received the Honorary Doctor of Humanities degree at the spring commencement on 1987. The rest of the issue covers subjects such as the radio ministry, scholarships, sports, and several different programs/events going on around the GWC campus.
